Tyrannical King Zobiawa delights in warring against his neighboring towns, emboldened by his pot and his tripod. But the knowledge and gallantry of his patriotic neighbors ultimately defeat him — and in defeat, he finds a new purpose, turning his strength toward the progress of the Hiyo region.
Woven with layers of symbolism and drawn from both historic and predictive threads, The Pot and the Tripod has been described as a rich contribution to literature exploring the foundations of lasting relationships and community — a story that rewards multiple readings and perspectives.
